Under Observation for Minor Injuries The sports star had been under observation while recovering from minor injuries, his management team confirmed on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on social media that Joshua was declared medically stable to “recuperate at home”. “Joshua and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two friends who passed away as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the official remarked. Honoring the Deceased The victims of the crash were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, a personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. The official further stated that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and deeply emotional over the loss of his two close friends.” His release from the hospital arrives after the boxing community had expressed its support for the champion in the wake of the devastating accident.
